Marisa was invited to take part in the Future Leaders Programme run by Coalition for Global Prosperity. A two day session was held in the grounds of Windsor Castle at St George's House where attendees were able to listen to discussions on foreign policy, defence and aid from speakers including Sir John Sawers,`former Chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service, Julia Frifield, Former US Assistant Secretary for State for Legislative Affairs under John Kerry, Sir Mark Lyall Grant, Former UK National Security Advisor and permanent representative of the UK to the UN, and Lieutenant General (Retd) Richard Nugee, Chair of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institute Board.
Marisa stated "Having worked in defence, lived in Indonesia and run an international forestry project I thought I was fairly informed, however these two days gave me some much more knowledge on foreign affairs and from some of the leading experts. Plus it was amazing staying in the grounds of Windsor Castle, a real privilege and I am grateful to have been invited."
