Utility companies have gained a high profile over the last few years whether it is sewage overspills, gas prices or road works and so it is time we started to work more formally with them.
This is important so we can understand their plans for infrastructure upgrades, addressing sewage and water outages, addressing issues like climate adaption, co-planning on roads works.
That is why we have set up a new Utility Task Group at Surrey County Council.
